Southampton defender Kayne Ramsay has joined Crewe Alexandra on a season-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old, who plays at right-back, will spend the 2021-22 campaign at Mornflake Stadium after David Artell made him his second signing of the summer, after forward Christopher Long.

Kayne, who joined the Saints in 2017 from Chelsea, has made two Premier League appearances for the club and also featured twice in the FA Cup.

The attacking full-back, who captained Saints under 18s, played on loan at Shrewsbury Town during 2019-20.
