Tyreece Onyeka was on the scoresheet again in pre-season, scoring in the opening minute of our Under-23 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday afternoon.

The winger added to the goals he has scored against Nantwich and Kidsgrove Athletic in the 2-1 over Wolves at Lilleshall - but the young pro also suffered an ankle injury and had to be withdrawn at the interval.

The former Academy graduate has certainly caught the eye with his impact substitute appearances during the summer and it is hoped that his ankle injury is nothing too serious.

He will undergo a scan later today to assess the extent of the damage.
