Dale Forced To Self-Isolate

26 July 2021

Owen Dale is the latest Crewe Alexandra player to have to self-isolate after he was ‘pinged’ in the NHS Track and Trace system. The forward will now isolate for a period of time before being allowed to resume training.

The club’s player of the season is ruled out of tonight’s friendly at Oldham Athletic but the club can welcome back Mika Mandron to full-time training after he served his period of isolation.

Goalkeeper Will Jaaskelainen is ruled out for the same reason but Shaun MacDonald and Chris Porter successfully returned to action against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
