Zanzala Leaves Club By Mutual Consent

2 January 2021

Crewe Alexandra can confirm that forward Offrande Zanzala has left the club by mutual agreement and with immediate effect.

Having joined the club from Accrington Stanley last summer, Zanzala made 10 appearances in all competitions. He made his full debut for the club when starting against Bolton Wanderers in the Football League Trophy and started the League One fixture at Portsmouth in November.

The 24-year-old scored his only goal in a 4-3 defeat to Shrewsbury Town in the Papa John’s Trophy group stage.

Although he was a regular for Alex Morris’ Under-23 side throughout the campaign, the former Derby County trainee was unable to force his way into David Artell starting XI on a regular basis.

‘Ossie’ will now seek greater first team involvement elsewhere and everyone at Crewe Alexandra wishes him well in his career.
