A warm welcome back to the Boro forward, Stephen Walker.
England Youth International Stephen Walker has re-joined Crewe Alexandra on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old forward from Middlesbrough returns to Gresty Road after spending the previous three months on loan at MK Dons.
Walker became a popular figure with Alex fans during his first loan spell with us. The forward, who can play wide or through the middle, made six appearances before the season was halted in March due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
Walker scored his first senior goal in the 2-0 win in the South Cheshire derby over Macclesfield Town in February.
He returned to the Riverside Stadium before being loaned to MK Dons in October. He made 17 appearances for the Dons, scoring five goals. His tally included a match winning brace away at Northampton Town in his last outing for the club on 12th July.
Walker has represented England up to Under-19 level and has scored 6 goals in 9 games for that particular age group.
He becomes David Artell’s second signing of the January window after he completed the loan move of Billy Jones from Rotherham United last night.
Everyone at Crewe Alexandra would like to welcome Stephen back to the Football Club!
