Congratulations to Crewe Alex winger, Owen Dale who has been named Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for December.

Inside the month, Owen managed to help himself to four goals in four games including a stunning overhead kick to claim a point deep into stoppage time against Burton Albion.

Whilst having an impressive month personally, the Alex matched Owen's performances by going six games unbeaten with four victories and two draws before the end of the year.

Owen told the Club's official website: “I am very happy to win this award, especially in the company of those that were also nominated. It was a good month for me personally but more importantly the team. We are in good form and the results and performances have been there for a while."
