Alex face a Pilgrim side with one of the most impressive home records in the EFL
Crewe Alexandra come up against Plymouth Argyle side this weekend at Home Park – a month after defeating Ryan Lowe’s side 2-1 at Gresty Road.
The Pilgrims are currently top of the home form table and impressively defeated Championship side Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup last weekend.
David Artell told the club’s official website: “It should be another good game. It was a good game last month and a good game last season that was spoilt by the referee. We didn’t deserve to lose that game.
“Plymouth will be in far, far better shape than when we played them last month. They are a good side and have good players and they have turned it around.
“It is always a tough place to go and it doesn’t matter if there is 12,000, 1,200 or 12 inside the Stadium, you still have to perform. If you don’t perform in this league then you will not win many games.
“We will have to expose Plymouth’s weaknesses and make sure we come out of the right side of the line. “
