Boss focus on doing what we do best.
David Artell says that he and his players cannot wait to get playing again after having last weekend’s home game against Portsmouth postponed due to a frozen pitch.
With no mid-week game, the Alex boss has had extra time to prepare his team for this weekend’s trip to Swindon.
Ahead of the trip to Wiltshire, the Alex boss told the club’s official website: “We have prepared as usual and Friday will be normal. It won’t be a development day, but more swayed towards preparing for what Swindon do and how they can hurt us.
“Of course, most of the prep work is weighted towards us. You have to focus on what we want to do and about we do.
“There is no point just setting out to stop the opposition. That has a short shelf life for me because you might win some tight games 1-0 or draw a few but then where do you go? Where can you go from there? Eventually you will get found out, so I think you need that mix.
He added: “The positive outlook for me, is to focus on ourselves but also evaluate where the opposition can hurt us.”
