Donervon Daniels made his return to action for the club’s Under-23s against Barnsley Under-23s at the Alexandra Stadium today. Daniels completed 45 minutes of the goalless draw at right-back.
The former Wigan, Doncaster, Blackpool and Luton man was making his return from the hamstring injury he sustained before Christmas and he has been restricted to just two first-team appearances for the club since joining us from Luton Town in the summer.
Alex boss David Artell told the club’s official website: “Donervon played his first 45 minutes for the 23s and he looked fine. He is still way off and there is a long to go but he is heading in the right direction.
“We will manage him accordingly and hopefully he will come back fitter.
The boss added: “It is nice to see Donervon back on the pitch and he has worked hard with the staff to get back.”
