David Artell believes his Crewe Alexandra side are entering a decisive period of matches that will have a tremendous bearing on our season.
The Railwaymen host Accrington Stanley at the Alexandra Stadium this evening looking to bounce back after two defeats to Peterborough and Swindon.
After Accrington, the Alex face other promotion hopefuls, Sunderland, Blackpool, Lincoln and Doncaster Rovers in a difficult run of fixtures.
Artell told the club’s official website: “We have five or six games coming up now which will be decisive for the way we want our season to go. If we can win four or five then we are right back in, lose five and we could be looking over our shoulders a bit – not that I think we will be.
“We have to try and win as many as we can. It will be a challenge against those teams that are right up there and we have to get as many points as possible and see where we get too.”
