David Artell has suggested that there will not be wholesale changes for our League Cup tie at Hartlepool United tomorrow evening.
The Alex boss says that he may give minutes to some of those who didn’t start the league opener against Cheltenham on Saturday but he still wants to use the time to improve partnerships and relationships.
The Crewe Alexandra manager told the club’s official website: “There is a possibility that some may get some minutes but we have to get the balance right on that.
“We have a relatively new team with some new players to fit into the way we play and we want to work on those new partnerships and relationships as much as we can. We can’t do that if we are chopping and changing all the time so we have to get that blend right.
He added: “We will try and come up with the best way to get a result and the best way we can utilise the squad.”
