Club's assistant manager says fans support has been a massive help during tough start to the season.
Kenny Lunt has praised the contribution of the club’s supporters after a slow start to the new season. The Alex are still waiting for their first league win after drawing on the opening day of the season against newly promoted Cheltenham Town but we have gone on to lose four on the bounce.
It is still very early days and Lunt believes that adding extra numbers and quality to the squad will only help.
Crewe signed two more players yesterday with Scott Kashket arriving via a successful spell at Wycombe Wanderers and Scott Robertson signing on loan from Glasgow Celtic for the season.
The club’s assistant manager told the club’s official website: “The fans have been brilliant. Elland Road was a brilliant night and I wish we could get that following every week. It felt like a home game and that was with 30,000 plus Leeds fans there!
“I thought the fans were absolutely brilliant and we had a great following at Charlton on Saturday as well. They really got behind the lads and if they carry on like that then they are going to be a massive help to us to turn things around.”
