Boss says it will be a busy few days with the end of the transfer window looming.

With the transfer window looming, David Artell has told the club’s official website that it will be a busy few days for the club.

Artell is after two or three new faces to bolster his squad and he has said that ‘he fully expects to see some business’ but only with players coming into the club.

Artell told crewealex.net: “The window is looming large and the work continues. It is now on the horizon and I expect it to be a busy time over the next few days.

“We travel to Charlton tomorrow afternoon, so we will be working on the way down there. We then have the game on Saturday and we will be working Sunday and over the Bank Holiday before we have another game on Tuesday night.

“I expect some business to happen but only with in’s. We are not looking to let anyone go. Don’t get me wrong, if an offer was to come in that meets our valuation of the player then I am sure it is something the Chairman and the board would discuss but that hasn’t happened.”
