Woodthorpe Undergoes Successful Knee Clean-Up Op

12 April 2021

Teenage defender successfully comes through minor knee operation.

Young defender Nathan Woodthorpe has successfully undergone surgery on his knee to clear out some minor cartilage. The full-back has already returned to begin his rehab and has reported no ill effects.

He is moving quite freely and is experiencing no pain in the knee area. It is great news for the Academy graduate who is yet to make his first-team debut after signing as a first year professional last summer.

The 19-year-old can play full-back positions and was a regular for Alex Morris’ Under-23s before his injury set-back.
