David Artell praised the mature performance of young defender Rio Adebisi after he performed fantastically well in our 2-0 win over Fleetwood Town.
Adebisi returned to the side at right-wing back after missing the defeat at Wigan due to the head injury he sustained just days before against Portsmouth.
With David Artell trying out a new 3-4-3 formation, Adebisi flourished in the position, joining in attacks when possible and defending with assurance once again in helping us keep a clean-sheet.
The Alex boss told crewealex.net: “There were lots of pleasing things to take from the performance and one of those things was the performance of Rio. I thought he was terrific.
“Every time we have to call upon that boy, he was been terrific. He is giving plenty of food for thought I have to say. He is certainly heading in the right direction and he has to keep that going.”
