Alex receive positive news over Finney and Lundstram

Crewe Alexandra have been boosted by the news that midfielders, Oli Finney and Josh Lundstram have been given the all-clear to resume training shortly.

Positive scans have shown that the injuries are healing in the right way and now they have to work on their fitness levels before they could return to competitive action.

Finney has had to recover from a broken leg sustained at the beginning of the year away at Shrewsbury, but he has been able to re-engage with his running without any discomfort.

The same applies to Josh Lundstram, who has sufficiently recovered from his ankle injury sustained against Newcastle United Under-21s in the Football League Trophy back in the early part of the season.

It is hoped that both midfield players will get a chance to make themselves available for selection before the end of the season.
