Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell says that his side ‘have five challenges left’ to make sure that our season ‘does not end in a damp squib’.
Artell says that he and his staff will learn plenty about the players over the remaining fixtures of the season and he wants us to finish as high as possible.
The boss told the club’s official website: “We have five games left and that means we have five challenges. They are all going to be difficult and we have to embrace it.
“We will play the right way. We are not going down and not going up, so we are in a position that is very rarely afforded to clubs. With that comes a freedom and we want the players to play with the freedom.
“We will learn a hell of a lot about players in those last five games. It is an opportunity to learn a lot and work on things going forward. “
