David Artell says he will always try and find a way to win, but he won’t ever compromise his philosophy to bring entertainment to supporters.
The Alex boss has told the club’s official website that it will always be his intention to combine winning with entertainment and developing young players.
David explained to us: “As a manager it is always my aim to bring together style, entertainment and developing our youngsters. Of course, we want to be winning football matches as well but I think there has to be a style to do that.
“I think it is a duty as a manager to try and entertain the supporters if we win, lose or draw. I think they are entitled to see some good football for their money and that is what we try and do. Sometimes we have to change depending on the opposition or the state of the pitch but I will always want us to play a certain way.
“Nine times out of ten we do that.
He added: “There will be a few managers who will not necessary agree with me and I may be wet behind the years, but I think there has to be something in winning with some style. “
