Crewe host league leaders on Good Friday.
David Artell knows it will be another tough encounter against Grant McCann’s Hull City side tomorrow.
The Alex narrowly lost 1-0 in the reverse fixture way back in September and we also lost a penalty shoot-out there following a goalless draw in the Papa John’s Trophy knockout stage.
Ahead of our home clash with the league leaders, Artell said: “We know what a good side Hull are. They narrowly beat us 1-0 earlier in the season but we were a little unfortunate to lose. That was one of our first games at this level and we have improved since then.
“I am sure Hull have as well under Grant. I like him a lot and I look forward to seeing him for a catch-up.
“They don’t come any tougher than the team that are top of the league. They have created a few more chances than us with all the resources they have, so it is sure to be another good game.
He added: “We have to take our chances and restrict their opportunities because we know they have good players who can punish you. We produced one of our worst halves of football against Burton in or last home game but before that we had been very consistent at home, so it is important we get back to that.”
