MP Kieran Mullan visited Crewe Alexandra Training Park to congratulate Dave and his squad on their promotion from Sky Bet League Two and was keen to learn about how the academy operates.
The Crewe and Nantwich MP was impressed with the Club's training facilities and how we've incorporated our Covid-19 measures safely.
Kieran had his temperature taken, whilst completing a Covid-19 screening questionnaire and was then directed around the one-way system before he met manager David Artell, Chairman John Bowler and Vice-Chairman Charles Grant.
The Club officials took the local MP on a socially distant tour of the training ground and spoke at length about the importance of the academy to this football club, whilst observing some first-team training.
After enjoying his surroundings Mr Mullan said: “I know how proud all the Alex supporters are of their success last season and the club remains at the heart of our local community. It was great to give my congratulations in person.”
