Attacking midfielder rewarded after making telling contribution in promotion winning season
Attacking midfielder Oli Finney has signed a new and improved three-year contract with the club after making a significant contribution during our promotion winning season.
The 22-year-old scored six goals in 26 appearances before last season was cut short by the global pandemic.
The Stoke-on-Trent born midfielder has always possessed the ability to break forward from midfield and score goals and he has now been able to reproduce that at first-team level under David Artell.
Finney has now amassed 45 appearances at senior level after previously having loan spells at local neighbours Nantwich Town and Halesowen Town.
Finney had a contract extension triggered in the summer, but he has now agreed a new and improved deal following his real emergence at first team level.
Everyone at Crewe Alexandra would like to congratulate Oli on his new contract.
