NMCN SCORES CREWE ALEXANDRA FC DIGITAL PARTNERSHIP FOR SECOND SEASON
Crewe Alexandra Football Club are delighted to extend their digital partnership with NMCN for the upcoming 2020/2021 season.
After last season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, League Two Clubs voted by an overwhelming majority to formally end the 2019/20 season, meaning the Railwaymen, in second place, were promoted to League One.
Throughout the 2019/2020 season, nmcn provided Crewe with a suite of matchday social media graphics that were used throughout their home and away games. We also sponsored highlights packages shared by the club across its social media channels.
This season we have extended and enhanced our partnership to become the club’s exclusive digital partner. We will support the club by working with them to produce exciting and engaging content throughout the season with a particular focus on the matchday experience for fans, particularly while the season is likely to be impacted by restrictions to attending in person.
Rich Smith, Business Development Director at nmcn, said: “This is an exciting partnership and we’re delighted to build on our existing relationship with Crewe Alexandra FC. We’re pleased to be able to help bring a new dimension to Crewe’s social media accounts on matchdays.
“Our Communities is a key priority under our 2025 Positive Impact Plan, and this is a great way of raising brand awareness for nmcn whilst supporting the team as they play in unusual conditions.
“Last season we saw a huge number of impressions and engagement with our posts, which allowed us to present the nmcn brand to new audiences, positively placing us in the minds of Crewe Alexandra supporters as the team continues to grow from strength to strength.”
James Beckett, Commercial and Marketing Manager at Crewe Alexandra, said: “We’re excited to have nmcn back on board and to enhance the partnership for the new season. We look forward to what we can achieve, as we continue on our journey to excite and engage our fans and the next generation of Crewe supporters”
As a Football Club we would like to thank NMCN for continuing their partnership in the 2020/21 season.
