Artell: "Support He Have Received So Far Has Been Terrific"

10 September 2020

Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell has personally thanked the club’s supporters for once again showing their incredible loyalty when purchasing season tickets for an unusual campaign.

Season ticket holders will be able to stream the live games into their homes and those holders will have the best chance of entering the stadium when it is deemed safe enough for large crowds to resume.

The Alexandra Stadium would be operational at a reduced capacity and obviously season ticket holders would have preference.

Artell told crewealex.net: “We are all delighted with the number of season tickets we have sold, especially when we don’t know for sure when crowds, or a reduced crowd at that, will be allowed to return.

“It is a tremendous effort by everyone and the only thing I would say, if you haven’t got a season ticket yet and you can afford one then get one because it could be the only way for you to watch us.

“If you can spare a few bob then that would really help the Football Club as well and the support we have had so far has been terrific.

David added: “I’m sure the fans who have been season ticket holders over the last couple of seasons have had value for their money. We are now a league higher and there will be bigger clubs coming, so if you can raid the piggy bank then that gives you the best chance of seeing some football this season either through the streaming or hopefully inside the stadium at some stage.”
