Boss says fixture demand this season will give players their opportunties at some point.
David Artell says that the condensed season will mean he will have to fully utilise his squad.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic the new campaign has kicked off in September but will conclude in the first week of May again and due to the extra demands on his players, Artell has stressed the importance of them being ready for action when called upon.
The Crewe Alexandra boss told crewealex.net: “It is a condensed season and we will be playing a lot of Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday games as we go, so I will be using virtually everyone at some point. I am sure that will happen.
“That might be Saturday against Charlton, Hull away or Sunderland away a few weeks later but the players need to be ready. They have to train well every day because they will not know when that call will come.
“That is the message to the players. It was the same last season but it is even more critical this season with the demands being placed on them.”
