David Artell has had to cope with a lot in the first six weeks of the new season - but he says that whatever is thrown at this squad, they are strong enough in numbers to come through.
The Alex boss says whoever is called upon from his squad they have the ability to come in and do a job for the team.
He explained to crewealex.net: “We have had to chop and change a bit this season, especially at centre-half but I think that whoever we call upon can come in and do a job. We have a strong squad.
“We have a few younger ones, still at that development stage, but they are not far off either.
“I think there will be clubs in the EFL who will have 13, 14, 15 players in their squad who they think they can rely on to play at the level. We feel as though we have more than that here.
“I think whoever gets their chance will show they have a performance in them that we expect to see for the level. Whatever position that may be in the team.”
