Artell: "We Are Looking Forward To Another Good Game Of Football At Oxford"

1 October 2020

David Artell has told the club’s official website that he knows that Karl Robinson’s Oxford United side are ‘no mugs’ and he is expecting another tough  game as his Crewe side continue to find their feet in League One.

Crewe travel to the Kassam Stadium this weekend on the back of two consecutive wins and two clean-sheets against the MK Dons and Newcastle United Under-21s in the Checkatrade Trophy and Artell is expecting another tough game against last season’s play-off finalists.

Ahead of this weekend’s encounter against the U’s, Artell told crewealex.net: “We have been handed a tough start. I think we have the three sides that were relegated from the Championship and the losing play-off finalists.

“Oxford are a good side and they will expect to be challenging again. They are certainly no mugs and we will have to play well to get something from the game.

“They are all tough in this league and that will be the case again on Saturday. They play good football and it should be another good game.”
