Artell Targets Fourth Win And Fourth Shut Out

16 October 2020

David Artell is targeting a fourth consecutive win and fourth clean-sheet against Blackpool this weekend.

The Alex are welcoming Neil Critchley’s Blackpool to Gresty Road this weekend aiming for a fourth successive victory at home.

The Railwaymen have beaten Newcastle Under-21s in the Checkatrade Trophy, MK Dons and Wigan Athletic in recent weeks.

Ahead of the visit of Blackpool, Artell told us: “We are looking to go four unbeaten and try and get a fourth clean-sheet this weekend. That’s the aim. That is what we work on every week and the lads continue to take things on board and improve with each game.

“They have managed to do that and it will be the same against Blackpool this weekend. Our goals against column has improved and we have scored a few goals of late, so we are heading in the right direction.

“If we can play like we have been doing at home then we will see where we get too.”
