Welshman moves back on loan to Moss Lane to gain game time in National League.
Billy Sass-Davies has joined Altrincham on loan for a month. The club’s Wales Under-21 International teams up with Phil Parkinson’s side for the second time in his career, having spent time on loan at Moss Lane last season.
The 20-year-old has been loaned out to gain some competitive games in the National League having made an impressive start in Crewe’s first team this season. Sass-Davies scored his first senior goal in the 2-1 defeat to Lincoln City in the League Cup on the opening day of the season and the centre-half started the EFL Trophy game at Bolton Wanderers.
Sass-Davies has now made 5 first-team appearances for Crewe Alexandra, as well as gaining valuable playing experience whilst out on loan at the likes of Colwyn Bay, Leek Town and FC United of Manchester, as well as making that one previous appearance for Altrincham.
Sass-Davies joins his fellow Crewe team-mate, Joe Robbins, on loan at Moss Lane.
Everyone at Crewe wishes Billy well for his latest loan move.
