The Alex will be eager to get back to winning ways in Sky Bet League One, on the back of three straight defeats, but a tough test lies in wake as table toppers, Peterborough United, visit the Alexandra Stadium on Saturday (3pm KO).
The Posh have started the season at a blistering pace and find themselves three-points clear at the summit of the third tier. Darren Ferguson’s men are unbeaten in their last eight league fixtures and have suffered just two defeats to date.
The Railwaymen meanwhile can lift themselves as high as 12th with a win against the London Road side on Saturday, and will look to set the record straight with a first win over the Cambridgeshire outfit in six years.

Star Man: Siriki Dembele
The 24 year-old Ivorian has been integral to the Posh establishing themselves as early promotion hopefuls, and the dynamic midfielder, who can also operate as a forward, has played in 10 of first 11 league games, scoring six goals in all competitions.
Dembele, who has now registered over 70 first team appearances for Peterborough since arriving in 2018, actually began his career nine years prior, with Dundee United. A move across Scotland to Ayr United followed, before Dembele was snapped up by the illusive Nike Academy.
His time under the global shoe brand saw him earn a first senior deal at Grimsby Town in 2017, where after a successful season on the East coast, he submitted a transfer request which forced a switch to the Posh, where he has since become a popular figure.
Dembele, who recently scored a hat-trick during Peterborough’s 5-1 thumping of Shrewsbury, is the brother of Celtic’s Karamoko Dembele, and also a relative of Yaya and Kolo Toure. It is his speed, ability to beat his man and his hold-up play, that make him one to watch for the Alex this weekend.
