David Artell says that attacking midfielder, Oli Finney, has a natural ability for arriving in right positions to get himself chances.
Finney scored at Bolton in the FA Cup on Saturday to take his personal tally to 8 goals from his 26 starts in the first-team.
Artell told the club’s official website that Finney ‘didn’t have one of his better games’ against Bolton on Saturday but popped up once again with a crucial goal.
The Crewe boss told us: “Oli has a knack for being in the right place at the right time. He has a natural ability to get himself into those advanced positions and that gets him chances.
“It is the best knack to have because it means he gets into the team because he scores goals and is a goal threat.
“It wasn’t his best performance at Bolton on Saturday, I thought his touch was a bit heavy and we were ready to take him off. He then gets himself into another of those forward positions, he goes through a tackle and gets his goal to put us 2-1 up.
“It is a great skill to have, to score goals and Oli has it.”
