Crewe Alexandra are delighted to confirm they will be supporting the Merry Mile event this year. The Football Club have worked closely with the Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charities for numerous amount of years and this Christmas we need your help to reach that target.
The Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust have provided the following information: 'Our annual Merry Mile event is usually a one mile run or walk around Queen's Park. This year like everything else we've had to change our plans to keep everyone safe and to protect our NHS, so we've gone virtual! Starting on Monday 30 November and until Saturday 12 December we're asking our supporters to sign up (£10 per adult, £5 children over 11, under 11's free), choose a date and time suitable to them and then run, walk or toddle a mile to help raise funds for our Lost Little Ones appeal. Participants get a free t-shirt, Santa hat and badge and children also receive a certificate of achievement.
'We were hoping to have reached our 100k target for the appeal earlier this year, but in March we had to put it on pause so we could support our amazing NHS staff. Money from all our Christmas activities this will go to the appeal and with your support we would love to reach the target over the next couple of months.'
