This evening, Crewe Alexandra face an in-form Accrington Stanley side that have suffered just one league defeat in their last seven outings. John Coleman’s side are currently in 9th place in League One on 19 points and they held high-flying Lincoln City to a goalless draw at the weekend.
David Artell is a keen admirer of the way, Accrington is run as a football club and how they have established their own identity under boss John Colemen and his assistant, Jimmy Bell.
Ahead of our third away trip of four in succession, the Alex boss stated: “John is a good manager. He is well experienced and he has given the club a strong identity. They know what they are and what they stand for and that helps them achieve what they have achieved.
“They are a good club, with loyal fans, and it is a well-run club.
“We had a tough game against them in the FA Cup last year but did well and came through a difficult cup tie.
The boss added: “We will have to go there and play our football and make sure we put a shift in.”
