Connor Heath scored for Crewe Alexandra Under-23s, as Alex Morris' side drew 1-1 away to Birmingham City.

After a goalless first half, Heath put the Alex ahead with a great curling effort at the St. Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium.

Birmingham equalised via a penalty shortly after, with Kyle Hurst scoring from the spot.

Crewe fought well for their point, and host Burnley next week.
