Kenny Lunt has told crewealex.net that Crewe Alexandra need to make more of our corner count in matches. The club’s assistant manager says that the work out on training ground continues when it comes to set-pieces and he believes that we should be posing more of a threat with the players we have.
Lunt told the club’s official website: “We work on our set pieces and corners. We do get a number of them because we have the majority of the possession.
“We haven’t scored from enough of them and that may just be that we haven’t quite got there or have things blocked or saved. We have the players to attack from corners and we will continue to work at it and get better at it.
“It is an important part of the game and we do go through set-pieces every week, both for and against.”
