Crewe Alexandra’s assistant manager, Kenny Lunt, says that the Railwaymen will be ready for Tuesday’s top of the table clash at Exeter City. Lunt says that the squad will go through the necessaries from Saturday’s draw at Morecambe and quickly turn their intentions to the task at Exeter.
Ahead of the trip south, the Alex assistant said: “We will go through what we need to do from Saturday and put that behind us and more on to tomorrow night.
“We created enough chances at Morecambe and someone told me afterwards that we had 21 shots, so to only score one was disappointing. When you make that many chances you should be scoring two, three, four but we didn’t. The performance was there but it was just that final pass or shot.
“We had to put those chances away and there may be a time where we will have five chances and score four or five.
“Morecambe also deserve credit. They have lost one in 11 games at home and it is never easy there. “
