Crewe Alexandra’s assistant manager, Kenny Lunt, believes that our promotion hopes remain firmly in our own hands and that we remain one of the top sides in the division. Lunt believes that it was two points dropped at Morecambe at the weekend with the chances we missed, but that it could yet prove to be a valuable point at the end of the season.
Ahead of or mid-week fixture at Exeter, the Crewe’s assistant manager said: “Our fate remains in our own hands but we won’t change, we take it one game at a time and try and win the game. We don’t feat anyone. We have played everyone now and we consider ourselves to be one on the top teams in the league, if not the best.
“We have some really good players, many of them could play higher and we have to continue to show it in the games we have left.
“It doesn’t matter if we are playing Morecambe or Exeter away or Stevenage at home, we always try and get the three points and that is how we approach every game.”
