Crewe Alexandra have this afternoon pledged the use of the club’s stadium and training ground facilities in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

During these difficult times it is important everyone plays their part, and with all staff now working in self-isolation at home, we have space and facilities, which could be utilised.

The club is already opening for blood donor sessions when requested, and we have made it clear that if we can help in any other way, we will do whatever we can to back our amazing health workers.

We have been in contact with the NHS and Cheshire East Council since the start of the outbreak, and made it clear we will do whatever we can to support them.

It’s the least we can do in the current climate, as key workers go above and beyond the call of duty to help save lives.
