Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell has told the club’s official website that youngster Regan Griffiths has a ‘bright future in the game’ after he recently penned a new contract with the club. Griffiths, who was a regular performer for the club’s Under-23 side, made the first team bench for the first time at home to Scunthorpe United.
The Liverpool-born youngster has an eye for goal from midfield and tenacious work rate and Artell has praised his character.
Artell told the club’s official website: “Regan has a bright future. You talk about character, I’d take him to war.
“He knows he has got to improve, but there is one for certain he will be able to look in the mirror and say I gave it everything I had. He will always give it his best shot and whilst he is doing that, then we will stick with him.
“I think he is only going to get better.”
