Crewe Alexandra Announce Rhino Safety Partnership

14 July 2020

Crewe Alexandra Football Club are delighted to announce a new three year partnership with health, safety, fire risk and environmental consultancy Rhino Safety Ltd.

The partnership will see the Gresty Road End at the Alexandra Stadium renamed as the Rhino Safety Stand in a deal that will run until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Long-term supporters of Crewe Alexandra, the team at Rhino has a wealth of experience, working with clients in a wide range of sectors to effectively and efficiently manage their H&S obligations. They have developed a reputation for bringing common sense back to health & safety, and are known for their positive and proactive approach. They will now look to build on their excellent reputation with the partnership with Crewe Alexandra.

James Beckett, Commercial and Marketing Manager at Crewe Alexandra said: “We’re delighted to announce this partnership. The Gresty Road End is a real focal point for supporters at the Alexandra Stadium and to have a company put their name to the stand is fantastic news.

“As a Football Club we are keen to expand our list of partners so to have Rhino Safety on board is brilliant for us.  They fit in with everything we are looking to do commercially and I am looking forward to introducing them to our other partners over the coming years and I’m sure the partnership will be a success for all parties.”

Offering health and safety expertise throughout the UK, Rhino provide first-class training and consultancy as well as practical services for companies.

But away from the business they have been regulars at Gresty Road for many years. Cate Walter, one of the Directors of Rhino Safety explained why they decided to partner with Crewe Alexandra;

“I’ve been supporting the Alex for 34 years now, and being able to sponsor such an iconic part of the club (the GRE) is a really proud moment for me personally. But aside from that, at Rhino Safety we have a huge focus on contributing to our local community, and we feel that Crewe Alex is a real community club. We look forward to the opportunities this partnership will bring.”

Boss Dave Artell was on hand for a photo in front of the new Rhino Safety Stand earlier today and you can click here to learn more about our new partner.
