Ng Hoping To See Back Of January With Everyone Still Here For The Run-In

Skipper hopes no offers come in for any of his team-mates in order to maintain our promotion push

Like his manager, Perry Ng is hoping to see the back of the transfer window as soon as possible. Although linked with a possible move himself over the last 18 months, the Crewe Alexandra captain is hoping that David Artell will be able to keep his squad together to maintain our promotion push.

Ng says that he hopes the club can refute any offers for any of our young players and win promotion at the end of the season.

Perry told iFollow the Alex: “Hopefully we can get through the month and keep everyone here. I think if we can do that and maybe add one or two additions to help the squad then we will have a great chance.

“We have some very good players here and there is sure to be some interest but we want to keep the team together and see how far we can go this season.”

The captain is expecting a tough game against third placed Cheltenham Town this Saturday.

“Cheltenham will be another tough game. They have been really good this season and not lost too many games.

“They are one of the top sides in the division but we feel that if we play our football then we are one of them as well. We need to bounce back after Swindon last week and to be home against another one of the teams that are up there is the perfect chance to do that.”
