Alex Show Support For Kick It Out Campaign At Glanford Park

27 January 2020

Scunthorpe and Crewe Alexandra demonstrated their support for the Kick Racism Out Of Football campaign before our League Two fixture at Glanford Park. The Alex players warmed up in the traditional ‘kick it out’ t-shirts to highlight the kick it out campaign and our stance against all types of discrimination.

Throughout the season, Kick It Out is running more initiatives to tackle discrimination and hate incidents at every level of the game. The initiatives will also seek to highlight the positive messages of inclusion echoed by the football authorities, clubs, players, managers and supporters’ groups.

The great work we continue to undertake through our community projects in Shavington has seen us host awareness workshops and promote football for all regardless of race, gender, religion or disabilities. The staff at the Alexandra Soccer Centre continues to work closely with youth groups and schools in making sure that any form of discrimination has no place in football and society.

Crewe Alexandra and the Alexandra Soccer Centre have always been staunch supporters of the work of Kick It Out and we would encourage any supporter that is subjected to abuse or hears or sees anything inappropriate to report it immediately to the nearest steward or police officer inside our stadium.
