David Artell says he is looking forward to what will be one of the most highly anticipated games in the EFL this weekend.
Third placed Crewe Alexandra travel to league leaders Swindon Town tomorrow hoping to gain some ground on Richie Wellen’s side. Crewe are currently six points behind Swindon but do have two games in hand.
Ahead of our trip to the County Ground, Artell said: “I am sure it will be one of the best games in the EFL this weekend. I haven’t looked at the other fixtures if I am honest but Swindon like to play the right way under Richie and so do we, so it should be a good game.
“We are two good teams who are up there on merit and it is one for everyone to look forward to.
“I am not surprised that Swindon are top of the league. They have a young, experienced manager, who had a good career and has had a few jobs as well. He would have learned a great deal and taken that into the job he is doing at Swindon.
“They have a good manager, good players and a good budget so it is only logical that they would be right up there. They are there on merit and there for a reason. We respect them but we cannot go there fearing them. We will be looking for three points.
“Earlier in the season when Swindon came to us, Richie said before that it would be a proper football match and it was. I like the way Swindon play and when they ask questions we have to answer them and we have to ask plenty of questions too.
“It has everything to make it a really good game.”
