Crewe Alexandra manager David Artell has told the club’s official website that his midfielder Lowery continues to have a growing influence on his first team.
Lowery has added goals and assists to his game and although Artell admits that they had to wait a little longer for his physique to develop, the rewards are there for all to see.
Lowery has netted five times this season and been a consistent performer in the Alex midfield. He recently surpassed 100 senior appearances for the club.
Artell told crewealex.net: “It is a terrific return (to have played 100 games) at his age and although we had to wait a while for him because of his stature, we always felt he would be a player when he was coming through.
“We had to wait a bit longer but he has shown what a player he is in the second half of last season and into this season. He has been terrific for us and will only get better.”
