David Artell has told the club’s official website that it is important that his Crewe side dust themselves off quickly and go again against league leaders Swindon Town this weekend. It is top versus third in League Two and the Alex boss says that we have to move on quickly from our FA Cup exit to Barnsley.

The Championship side deservedly progressed into tonight’s fourth round draw but they certainly knew they were in a contest at Gresty Road, especially when Paul Green cancelled out Jacob Brown’s early opener. The Tykes scored twice in the last 15 minutes to go through.

Artell told crewealex.net: “We have got to lick our wounds and go again. We have got to pick ourselves up and go up against Swindon at the weekend.  We have to play as well as Bradford did to get a result there.

“We will get the rest into the lads and prepare right. We will see what Swindon do and where their strengths and weaknesses are and got for the three points.”
