Notts: "We Want To Remain Unbeaten For As Long As We Can"

5 February 2020

Michael Nottingham is hoping that Crewe Alexandra can continue their mini-unbeaten run with two home games against Oldham and Crawley on the horizon.

Since signing on loan from Blackpool, Nottingham has helped the club to register five games unbeaten and the centre-half has played a key role in that, but he says that the manager is keeping everyone’s feet firmly on the ground as we continue to focus on one game at a time.

The 30-year-old defender told the club’s official website: “The lads have made it really easy for me to come in, they are a good bunch of lads and I feel part of it already. I’ll just keep trying to do my job, taking one game at a time.

“Every game in this league is tough and we are in the back end of the season now, so everyone knows what they are playing for and what they have to do.

“Everyone knows how we play so they are going to have plans of how they are going to try to stop us, but we have to just keep doing what we are doing.

“It would be nice to be involved in a promotion winning team. That’s the dream and we will continue to work hard towards that goal.”
