Injury Update

6 February 2020

Treatment room is looking clear

David Artell says that the club’s injury concerns are beginning to improve. The Alex boss lost a number of first-team players over the busy festive and New Year period but he states that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

The treatment room is beginning to clear. Chris Porter marked his return to playing with a brace in a behind closed doors friendly against Blackpool and he and defender Olly Lancashire just require ‘more minutes under their belt.’

Nicky Hunt is progressing well after he was forced to miss our game with Leyton Orient with a hip injury. The club also hope that Rio Adebisi will return to training sooner rather than later.

Lewis Reilly is considered to be Crewe’s only long-term absentee following knee surgery.
