Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell expects midfielder Ollie Finney to be fit for the weekend fixture at home to Oldham Athletic.
Saturday’s match winner at Walsall was taken off after aggravating his groin when scoring the winner in our 2-1 win.
The Alex boss told the club’s official website: “Oli tweaked his groin. He said he felt it when he took his first touch and then felt it more when he hit the shot for the goal.
“I am sure he will be fine. I expect him to be and the mid-week break will do some of them some good.
“He will be alright but we are not sure how serious it is.”
