Boss praise for job Dino has implemented at Oldham

Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell has praised the impact Dino Maamaria has made at Oldham Athletic.

The former Stevenage boss is beginning to really impose his own style on the Latics after coming into the job back in September and they arrive in South Cheshire this weekend on the back of a six game unbeaten run. They have beaten Bradford and Mansfield in successive matches and will come to Gresty Road with confidence.

Crewe are up to second in the League Two table and are five games unbeaten ourselves, so it sure to be another good encounter to look forward to.

Ahead of Oldham’s visit, Artell told the club’s official website: “We have got two home games coming up but trust me it is all about Oldham first and winning that game. We haven’t thought about Crawley or Plymouth, or whoever is after those fixtures.

“It is all about the next one and making sure we get the job done.

“Oldham are a good run themselves and Dino has stamped his own authority on the team. They are beginning to look like one of his teams. He has done a good job and they will be a tough nut to crack.

“We have to show what we capable of. Oldham have got threats but they also have weaknesses, that we will need to exploit.

He added: “I’ve got no problem with Dino. I will shake his hand and have a drink with him afterwards if we wants to. There is no issue with me. “
