Crewe Alexandra manager David Artell is pleased that our season continues to go in an ‘upward trend.’ Crewe reached 30 points for the season with a 1-1 draw with Fleetwood on Boxing Day and are 9th in the table as we head into the New Year.
Artell told crewealex.net: “The season has been on an upward trend in terms of performance and results. We are showing some consistency but there is more to come from us. To go six unbeaten in this league means that you are not rubbish.
“We are heading in the right direction but the players know that there is more to come. We have to keep striving to improve and get better.
“We want to go again and remain unbeaten for as long as we can. We want to go away and win those games and make up even more ground on those ahead of us. “
