David Artell has told the club’s official website that he is pleased that his Crewe Alexandra side have adapted to life in League One after a tough start to the campaign.
Crewe have faced the majority of the top teams in League One thus far and Artell says that his players have now got used to the level.
Ahead of our home fixture with Northampton Town, the Alex boss told the club’s official website: “I think the players have now adapted. It took three and four games to adjust to the level and I wish it was quicker and not taken that but we are there now.
“We have had a tough start but they are all competitive games at this level. If you are not at it then you can get beaten on any given day.
“We need to score more goals but I am not overly worried. It is more about taking more of our chances. I would be more worried if we were not creating those chances.
“There are not many big things to work on but there will be hundreds of little things that we can improve on to make us better. We are working hard to get better and if we can then we win more games of football.”
